'Natya Sastra' - A Complete Dance Workshop

The Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS), a premier institution in Singapore devoted to the teaching of Indian Classical Arts, is organising A complete Natya Sastra Workshop on August 8, 10 and 11 in Singapore. It is conducted by Dr Pappu Venugopala Rao, a well-known scholar, poet, musicologist, Sanskritist, dance expert, writer and orator.

This is the first of its kind in the world, outside of India and USA, focusing on the complete 36 chapters of the book by the same name by Bharata Muni and considered a major treatise for anyone seriously pursuing dances of India and South East Asia.

How to Register

1. Fill in the Registration Form

2. Attach it to a cheque made out to SIFAS for the correct amount.

Post both the form and cheque to: A COMPLETE Natya Sastra Workshop, 2A Starlight Road, Singapore 217755.

3. Overseas participants have to arrange their own accommodation. SIFAS could help book hotels near the venue. Please contact Jayasree at +6562995929 ext 106 or email admin@sifas.org with the heading “A COMPLETE Natya Sastra Workshop Accomodation”.

4. You may also print and fill in the Registration form and pay at SIFAS Office using cash,cheque or NETS. Office hours are 9:30 am to 8:15pm,except Mondays & Public Holidays.

S$150.00 nett for SIFAS students,members,Alumni and graduates

S$ 250.00 nett for general public and non-SIFAS affiliated persons
